We are excited to announce our Kentucky Derby Rainbow Tea! It is planned for Saturday, March 16th from 11am to 1pm. (We’ll be setting up tables starting at 9:30 that morning.) As in the past, we will have an auction and a raffle. More details to come, but we hope each table will be able to raise at least $100 to help fund the Ministries of Imani MCC. Please see Jeff Barnes for more information.
You can use PayPal to give for the Rainbow Tea. Please comment with the amount of your offering that you designate for it. Thanks!
On Saturday, March 3, 2018 we will have an anniversary bowling celebration at AMF Bowling Alley in Durham at 7:30 pm to celebrate with Pastor Marilyn. Please join us for an evening of fun and fellowship. Everyone is welcomed to attend. Note: Kid and family-friendly.
Then on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 10:00 am, we will celebrate the 5th Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Marilyn Bowens. Rev. Annie Ross will be the guest speaker and Johnika Johnson-Perry will be ministering in music.
We are asking all members and friends to bring a special monetary love offering for our Pastor. This offering will be taken up separately during the service. And there will be a potluck dinner after service. Please see Ms. Nita Green to sign up to contribute a dish or help with the dinner.
Please invite and share this momentous occasion with friends, family and co-workers. There are flyers on social media, please feel free to share with your networks.
Every year, on the last Sunday in July, we like to invite all of our Friends and Family back to Imani MCC. This year, it's Imani's Ice Cream and Cupcake Social!
Join us Sunday, July 30th 2017 at 10AM for our Worship Service dedicated to our Friends and Family, then immediately following service treat yourself and the kids to our Ice Cream and Cupcake Wonderland!!!
Instead of trying to have a regular Sunday morning worship service on Christmas Day, Imani MCC will hold a special service on the day before at the regular 10:00 am time. Everyone will be able to worship on Saturday morning, December 24th, and still have time for family and friends later that day and all day on Christmas.
So the church doors will be locked tight on Christmas - but NOT at 10:00 am the day before Christmas.
