On Sunday, October 20, 2019, Imani is asking all members and friends of Imani to “Wear Pink” in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During our Sunday Service we will have a moment of silence for all those near and dear to us that were lost to cancer. You may call out their names to honor their legacy. Afterwards prevention and early detection literature will be available for people to take with them.
Come join us as we attend the North Carolina State Fair. Imani would like to attend the State Fair as a group. If you would like to join us, then please meet us at the church on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 1:30 pm. We will head over to the Fairgrounds in Raleigh for a few hours of food, fun, and fellowship.
If enough are interested in the outing, we will be able to get a group tickets in advance. A sign-up sheet is located in the back of church for those interested in this group outing. As a reminder, this a child friendly and family event.
We are so excited to announce our long-awaited Shut-In.
The theme is “Hear from Heaven” based on 2 Chronicles 7:14. We will have special guests Pastor Schquinta Thompson and Pastor Jamie Townsend joining us.
All are welcome to attend as we gather at the church on Friday October 18, 2019 at 9:00 pm for prayer, study, teaching, singing, and sharing. You may stay as long or as short as you can. You may bring snacks.
Please join Imani as we learn the spiritual connection and basic agriculture education for the care of Imani’s Garden. Georie Bryant, Garden Consultant who specifically works with churches will provide education immediately following the Sunday service Sunday October 13, 2019 for about a 30-minute presentation. We look forward to seeing you!
We invite you to join us on Sunday, September 29 at 10:00 am for an “Old-Fashioned Sunday Church Service.” We will be singing the hymns many of us grew up on and some foot stomping gospel praise songs. Rev. Annie Ross will be preaching the good word so please come on out that Pride Sunday to Imani MCC and enjoy some ole school church! Hope to see you!
