- The 31 Day Pursuit of Prayer Challenge with Pastor Annie is still going on. Please pick up a prayer calendar on the usher’s table. We will continue to focus on Rest, Recovery, Restoration and Revelation.
- Today after service we will celebrate all May Birthdays with cake and fellowship in the back.
- The Imani Praise Team will rehearse on Thursday, May 22nd at 7:00 PM. All are welcome to come, participate and fellowship.
- Imani MCC will be joining Infinity Diamond Club for their Annual Memorial Day Cookout. It will be Saturday, May 24th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The location is Falls Lake Rolling View Shelter 14, 4201 Baptist Church Road, Durham, NC 27703. Please RSVP at infinitydiamondclub.org.
- Please sign up for Worship Participation on the clipboard located on the Usher’s Table in the back. There are slots open for the month of June. Thank you.
- On Sunday, May 25th, join us for a worship service in the garden area, where we’ll connect with nature and deepen our faith (weather permitting). You will need to wear comfortable clothing and bring lawn chairs.
- Join our Bi-Weekly In-Person Bible Study on Wednesday, May 28th at 7:00 pm at the Church or on Imani’s Facebook page, focusing on Worldshifter Principle #5 “The Power of Prayer and Meditation.”
- Join Imani’s Kids Club for Family Movie Night on Friday, May 30th at 6:30 PM. Enjoy food, games, and a movie. RSVP on the signup sheet or with MIT Dee Johnson Phillips.
- Can you commit to one Sunday a month to join Imani’s Global Impact Ministry? No experience necessary. See Josiah Mitchell or DIT Cindy Johnson Perry if interested.
- Imani MCC is invited to Renewal Fellowship UCC, 1350 Jonestown Rd, Winston Salem 27103 on June 8th at 3:00 PM for their 26th Church Anniversary, where Pastor Rev. Annie Ross will be speaking. Pastor request as many as can to go with her that Sunday.
- If you are interested in planning the Pastoral Installation service for Pastor Annie, please see First Lady Priscilla Ross to add your name to the committee. Our first official meeting will be on Sunday, May 25 after service in the sanctuary.
- Get READY for Pack a Pew Fundraiser!! We are looking for 4 team captains. Each captain’s goal is $250 or more!! You can name your team, decorate your area in the sanctuary and invite friends/family to join you on Sunday, July 27th. Please sign up on the clipboard in the back to be a captain(s) by May 25th!!! Note: You can work together as a pair, mini group or an individual to be the captain of a team.
