Church Announcements
- Join our Bi-Weekly In-Person Bible Study on Wednesday, April 30th at 7:00 pm at the Church or on Imani’s Facebook page, focusing on Worldshifter Principle #4 a recap of “The Power of a Vision.”
- The Imani Praise Team will rehearse on Thursday, May 1st at 7:00 PM. All are welcome to come, participate, and fellowship.
- There will be a vote held Sunday, May 13th to formally elect the Board of Directors Nominees after service.
- Youth Sunday will be May 18th with Sunday School at 9:30 AM. We will also celebrate May Birthdays that Sunday. Pastor Jamie Townsend of Divine Healing Center out of Charlotte, NC will be our guest speaker.
- Imani MCC will be joining Infinity Diamond Club for their Annual Memorial Day Cookout. It will be Saturday, May 24th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The location is Falls Lake Rolling View Shelter 14, 4201 Baptist Church Road, Durham, NC 27703.
- Please sign up for Worship Participation on the clipboard located on the Usher’s Table in the back. There are a few more slots open for the month of May. Thank you.
- Join “Imani’s Kids Club” Friday, May 30th at 6:30 PM for “Family Movie Night.” Parents are invited to bring their kids out for food, games, and to enjoy a movie. Please RSVP on the signup sheet on the Ushers table in the back or to MIT Dee Johnson Phillips. We look forward to seeing you.
- Can you commit to one Sunday a month to join Imani’s Global Impact Ministry? No experience necessary. See Josiah Mitchell or DIT Cindy Johnson Perry if interested.
- Imani MCC is invited Sunday, June 8th at 3:00 PM to join Renewal Fellowship UCC, 1350 Jonestown Rd, Winston Salem, NC 27103 and Bishop Roger E. Billingsley-Hayes for their 26th Church Anniversary. Our Pastor Rev. Annie Ross will be the speaker and request as many as can to join her there for support and to fellowship.
